Talented Las Vegas artist Joseph Watson developed these graphic characterizations from my first novel Midland.  The first is entitled “Surrounded” and shows Midland’s heroine Sam with Brandon as they fight their way through zombies on the streets of Las Vegas.  Note that still on her back is her faithful dog Bailey.

The second image “The Freeway” is from one of the later chapters and has Sam riding towards the Las Vegas Strip.  Note how the artist captured the mood and scale of a post-apocalyptic Las Vegas.

The final image “The Mall” shows Sam in her life and death struggle to escape as the dead approach from all directions.
